About 50 yrs. ago, a french doctor by the name of Michel Pistor discovered that
a few drops of different medications placed locally under the skin, in the mesoderm,
could create beneficial changes to that area. The dose is only 1/200th of the traditional
medicines, but it creates a more effective result. This method will avoid system effects,
drug interactions, severe allergic reactions.
This treatment became so well received that hospitals in France began to consult for
mesotherapy as a normal way of practicing. This led to the French Academy of Medicine
confirming mesotherapy as an offical part of traditional medicine in 1987. It is taught in the
Paris and Bordeau University to obtain a diploma. The treatment has spread to 15,000 doctors
in France and many countries in South America, Europe, and now the United States.
The injections are very tiny, usually not felt, but if so, very well tolerated. The solution will enter
into the local circulation of the mesoderm (Thus the name). This individualized mesotherapy will
penetrate to the affected area to improve the problem. As time passed, more and more uses have been
found for this treatment with much more effective results.
Originally mesotherapy was used for pain in joints, arthritis, inflammation, and sports injuries, but now we
have expanded its use to hair restoration, contouring the face, regenerating the skin, all sorts of joint
problems, reverse hair loss and especially beautifying and contouring the body.
Mesotherapy injectable solutions are prepared specifically for an individual and administered into targeted
areas with anesthesia. It is performed in our office. We use topical homepathic remedies, nutrients, and
a local topical anesthetic to create a more beautiful you.
